... how deeply touched I am, to witness the kindness and support offered by so many of my co-forumers to fellow members who are ... or have been - for whatever reason(s) - undergoing difficult and anxious times recently.
To these wonderful people ... too numerous to mention [but YOU know who you are!] I wish to express sincere gratitude for the team spirit that prevails on THIS marvellous forum ... of which I'm proud to be a member.

I agree with all of the sentiments expressed here, and share that sense of pride. Last year at the Manchester Barrio Fiesta I realised from the number of people there, the quality of the organisation and the enthusiasm of all present, that the Anglo-Philippine community had become a real force to be reckoned with in UK society. Anyone who messes with one of us, messes with all of us. Another thing I'd like to say, I'm really touched by all of the encouragement which members show to those in difficulty. All of us have been in the same boat, and anyone reading this should take heart that persistence and doggedness will bring their girl or guy to live with them under the same roof. You old bugger Arthur, you're making me emotional
