Booked to see my BF again

I've just booked to go and see my BF again, but this time not to the Philippines. Im heading to his cruise ship in Alaska, I was hoping he would get a ship in the med or the Caribbean, but no, Its Alaska again, the same ship as last year.

Im really excited, although it would have been nice to go somewhere warmer this time. The worst bit is having to wait until August!.

North to *Alaska, eh? ... it sounds like like "going from the sublime to the ridiculous" - temperature-wise, I mean - by comparison wth the Phils!

Mind you, if you aren't travelling until August, it [should] be a lot warmerer - even *THERE - by then.

Hi englishbird - just thought it was nice to greet a fellow female 'english bird' with filippino partner - haven't seen you on here before - although you've been around longer than me - I'm not a great one for posting I'm afraid (so many with more knowledge i have little to add)
Enjoy your time though - I'd love to go to Alaska - but maybe once is enough!
