It's the wrong time of year for walkouts...... if the weather's no good you might as well be at work.

FYI. I've never been an active trade unionist never mind a shop stupid as we used to call them and I only ever joined a union where it was a closed shop and I had to if I wanted to keep my job.

PS. My late father who, voted conservative all of his life, became a shop steward in the 70's because he wanted to stop all of the strikes and the only other candidates for the job were known militants.
