Question Buying a vehicle in the Philippines UK driver?

    Hi.

I have posted a thread similar to this in the past, but am now sure that I will need to buy a vehicle sooner or later.
My girl and her family live in Oro Quieta, Misamis Occidental.
Although the City Of Oro Quieta can fulfill most needs of the family, a car/van would be most advantageous to us.
I have it on reasonable authority, that Cebu would be a better bet in buying a second hand small van, like a Suzuki, or Mitsubushi for quite reasonable money?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Not sure of the best place to buy them, but have seen them for sale in a few places.
I fancy one of those little suzuki 4WD multi-cabs.

    car

Have a good look at a few.

I have seen the same vehicles for sale months after months.

Check the engine and chassis numbers are correct and untampered.

If your mechanical knowledge is not good then find a reputable mechanic to look over it for you.

This will save you in the long run.

    Indeed so my friend.
    How correct
    Will do exactly thet.
I reckon that I could do pretty well by spending a grand or so.
US Dollars of course, due to the currency exchange rates
