She doesnt have a job at present, although she is trying to get work at a call centre in Cebu.

She has sick relatives in Manila (Grandma) who she cares for, but if she was caring for her, why would she abandon her and come here for upto 6 months. I cant see the Immigration people buying that as a reason to return.
I probably wouldn't use that as a reason.

Oddly one of the reasons to return is actually her relationship with you. If there is a good chance that she will apply for a fiancee/spouse visa, why would she risk that by overstaying on a tourist visa?

on the flip side, one of the reasons why she might not return before her visa expires is because she is in a relationship with you

Well yes, but if that what the ECO always thought then no-one on here would get tourist visas.

I don't know if there are stats anywhere but I suspect if there was they would show the majority of people who arrive in the UK on a tourist visa sponsored by a partner who is a British Citizen properly settled the UK do return home
