Yep all above I agree with.
I spend about £5000 a year on fuel at a certain filling station,i was in a hurry and just stuck a quick £20 of fuel in.Walked into pay girl busy checking her nails did not even look at me and said "twenty" I said what banana's? she could not be bothered to say pounds even!!!
I complained to her boss and a few weeks later she was gone How did she pass interview :(

Good on ya I think part of the reason our customer service is so poor is becasue us brits usually dont like to complain, so the managers aren't always aware how rude their staff are.
