    Getting excited!!!

Well, It is getting closer and closer. In two weeks today my wife will be flying into manchester (on a plane that is!)I am far too organised and there is nothing for me to do now but...wait and wait and wait.Renah will be arriving in Manchester airport on March 7 at 6.30am.So this will mean an early start for me getting up at 4am(If I can sleep!)Then a two and a half hour drive to Manchester and then the same back. We will both be tired when we get back home and will more than likely go for a nap oops sorry wrong smiley

Thanks Dom Life has ben crazy! I was focussed on trying to get things going at work (corporate politics), coping with lack of sleep courtesy of a beautiful baby, Marikit (who is now a lot better) and getting my business of the ground (not enough time devoted to it).

Life is good though; its great to see Pia getting some rest finally. Marikit has finally got the hang of walking (10 months) and is the major joy in our lives. Pia and i are able to have a little cuddle while watching a film which we've not done for a long long time!

Hope all is well with you and Jet!

There *IS, you know, Dave ... seeing as you're ALREADY so well-organised ... why don't you utilise a good part of that spare time between now and a week on Sunday, catching-up on some much-needed rest after the stressful time you've [undoubtedly] had recently? THAT way, you'll be "bright-eyed, bushy-tailed ... and rarin' to go" in the early morning of the 'BIG DAY' - even if you CAN'T sleep the night before - and the ... ... "getting excited" bit will be all the better for it ... later!

Yes. I have stocked up on plenty of things, although Renah wants to try many of our foods also. But alas many of her native foods can not be obtained locally as I do live in a quieter part of wales.

Good stuff Dave, it is handy to have plenty of home comforts for Renah at least in the first few weeks and months

As you maybe aware this site has plenty of threads on how to adapt phill dishs with food and products found in the local high street food shops
