Both crabs and lobsters are decapod (10 feet) crustaceans with exoskeletons (external skeletons) , cooked by boiling although it's thought they can feel pain
The other kind of crabs are:-
    1. Size of a pinhead, with 3 pairs of legs
    2. A kind of louse, also known as nits, chiggers, and kuto in Philippines
    3. Spread by intimate contact ... but ...
    4. Sexual intercourse not necessary
    5. Don't jump or fly
    6. Cats, dogs and other pets not affected by human lice
    7. Cause itching / infection of affected area
    8. Curable by local medications available over-the-counter
    9. Visit doctor because there may also be more serious sexually transmitted infection
    10. Disinfect/wash infected clothes, towels etc
.....but you knew all that already !

When I think of lobsters, it reminds me of 'Pete & Dud'.

A friend played me an old cassette years ago....It involved lobsters & Jayne Mansfield

But it's too rude to put on here!

Actually it was when they were 'Derek & Clive'.

I have stock both of them in the fridge and love them both. The crab claws meat are the best part. We like eating crabs from it shell rather than crab stick. Lobster's meat is also superb delicious but I only eat if I fancy eating such.
I have seen crabs and lobsters traps here and I am impressed with the design.

Crab sticks don't contain crab and I think due to an EU directive on it they should be labelled as fish sticks .... although they harldy contain any fish

I believe this aptly-called English *'delicacy' [originally] derived its name from one or more edible fillings being compressed or "sandwiched" between two chunks or slices of bread (roughly proportionate in size). But you're right, Penny ... sand is not/never has been an "ingredient" ... ... unless inadvertently ... say, during a picnic on the beach!

Id heard it was invented by the Earl of Sandwiche,s servant who was trying to prevent his master starving whilst gambling for hours on end so he made door steps

I like the idea of your 3mt lobsters Doc Alan "Both crabs and lobsters are decapod (10 feet) "
