    for those who paid SMS in fiancee visa application

    Hi every one! Just want to ask if how many times did you received messages from VFS UK VISA after you give your application?I mean the 1st message says that APPLICATION WAS SEND TO BRITISH HIGH COMMISION.2nd is APPLICATION IS UNDER PROCESS.is the 3rd message will be APPLICATION IS READY TO COLLECT??Or there still another message after that like APPLICATION WAS COURIER BACK TO BRITISH EMBASSY IN MANILA?Will wait for your replies..Thanks so much

    I recieved 2 messages only:

    1. Application was sent to British High Commission
    2. Passport will be sent thru courier

    not the exact word but something like that

    Myrna has had 2 SMS so far

    1 on the day she went to VFS- 30th march 2010. sms was sent the same day
    visa has been dispatched to the british embassy

    2 7th april 2010
    visa application no xxxxxx is under process at the british embassy

    just waiting now...

    Just two ... in OUR case ... to the effect that:

    1. Your application has been passed to the British High Commission [by VFS Global]
    and
    2. Processed passport *returned through courier (when the visa had been approved)

    And WE only needed to pre-pay a *delivery charge ... NOTHING for the SMS texts. But then, that was 15 months ago, and things may well have changed since!
