we're about to apply next week for my visa but unfortunately i was diagnosed with pneumonia 10 days ago. Was on medication for a week and a follow-up xray check says its clearing up now. I am very worried it might affect my xray at the airport as they say it takes months to really clear up lungs from pneumonia. need advice pls.
From what you say it's likely you've had "community acquired pneumonia" or lung inflammation due to an infection, which has been treated by antibiotics. It's true X-ray / radiograph changes can persist for a few weeks but if you have a medical report with the diagnosis and treatment, and your general health is good, then you shouldn't worry
