You need CNI from british embassy, your birth certificate and passport, divorce paper if applicable....thats the only documents we submitted when we applied for marriage license.

It definitely can be a long drawn out process if the marriage is done in church.
Having a civil wedding is much less troublesome, search the internet for stories of red tape that may mean you will have to stay a long time to get everything done
A couple of other plusses is that your wife's family will be able to be there and it will be cheaper than the UK.
I have always felt that the wife needs her mother more than the man needs his.
Besides, Filipino weddings are great fun and the reception in her place is so heart-warming
