    It's true even there Arthur. The greater the longitude, the greater the daily change in daylight/darkness. On the equator there's hardly any change all year round. At the poles it ranges between continuous daylight and darkness. Wherever it is, the actual daily rate of change varies according to the time of year, being greatest around the time of each equinox.
