Please see my ref to Nationwide and Cash Cards. Its not that they are going to charge but that they are NOW going to abolish/cancel them. I have requested that people write and complain so that the decision may be reversed.

It will be a complete waste of time...we just gonna find a new bank who will give us better options ...

Well if everyone were to say that about everything no one would take the trouble here to try and help anyone and the the whole thing would collapse.

Its ONLY by bringing our wishes to notice that we can explain what our view is and what we want.

Not wanting to get into 'politics' but the Rail Union almost brought about a nationwide (no pun intended) strike by 'loosing' 300 votes and getting `non existent`votes from workers in burnt out signal boxes.

Telling people what we want does work, not telling means we are ignored.

Its better to have tried and to have failed than to have done nothing.

Incidentally, "we just gonna find a new bank who will give us better options"

OK tell us of even one bank which provides exchange rates at just about inter bank rate, with a free card, the use of which cannot be abused, with no charges either end, and OK I'll go down your route ! Problem is I don't believe there is one.

So guys, please drop a line to Nationwide, it will take but a few minutes and there is is good chance that if enough do it they will re-think.

    Thanks.

Excuse me Johncar,i guessed u are mixed-up ?? am not referring to anyone but the Nationwide which u have said they are going to abolish cash cards and IMO ' its a complete waste of time for me and hubby' ...why do we have to email somebody we didn't know just to reverse their policy??..when they imply rules its got to be effective and immediate and its being worked on not just by one person but the corporate...and one more, its a private company and nothing we can do about it...
I have worked with banks before so i know that they got their own strategies and techniques in sales which is to give better deals and in the end u have to bring back the great deals with them.
So , I as a customer/client or as an individual person is entitled to find a better options..better deals..new bank/company to suit my needs.
