I suspect Philipinnes National Bank which has a London office is the cheapest option. From my research it needs registration i.e. they need to see some identity documents before they will accept you as a customer. Process according to their website appears to be reasonably cheap. We have used Xoom.com a few times. Its priced in $US so involves converting from £ to $ and then from $ to Peso. It is amazingly quick though.

Here are some notes fer ya!

Western Union I use for emergency.

Xoom is an American company, so needs Paypal to process your cards. It does not accept some UK cards. Paypal can use credit cards and debit cards for your payment method. When you prcess Xoom, it takes you to Paypal site, where you get a final choice to pick the method of payment. It is possible to add lots of credit cards, but only 1 Maestro card. Xoom takes Mastercard, but does not have the added layer security of the UK. We use Mastercode Secure Code here. I suggest you check this out and register any cards you have.

    Mastcode Secure Code

The Americans credit card security is sadly lacking- they do not even ask for the 3 digit CCV code on the back of the card. So do not store credit card details within the Xoom site.

XOOM MONEY TRANSFER FEES in $$

PNB can takes longer, perhaps a day or 2, varies depending on province or city. The fee is always £5-6,and they are at the end of the phone if you need them.
It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum.

Setup a thread about Visa payment.

It would seem from VFS Banco de Oro and BPI are there main ways of payment.

Best way to send money is western union for small amounts using the 2 day service only £4.99, your bank will still charge you around £20.
