    Wedding expenses in Manila

Hello everyone, can I ask for some advice please. For you guys who have experience of a wedding in the philippines , specifically manila we would welcome your insights in terms of what is a realistic cost to hold a wedding celebration, including food and all the associated wedding costs. We would also welcome any recommendations for great venues or just some ideas for us to think about as we start to plan the big celebration.

try the coconut palace, december it appears is the best time of year to marry.

you want the full bang then i would say £5000 but that a few years ago and a better exchange rate.

get a civil wedding and a flight here is far cheaper
i have learnt to do what my wife says!

depends on how much you are willing to spend..

most hotels offer wedding packages.. you may want to google it... where do you want to do it? church then hotel? or is it civil ceremony?

me and fiance will have a look next week with the casa blanca mansion and hill creek...we are not really looking for a big place coz we are only expecting around 50 to 60 people so it will be nice if we could have the wedding ceremony and wedding reception in one place...one more thing that is worrying me is my fiance is not a catholic so it will be difficult for us to renew our vow in church, so we are thinking just to get a pastor..anyone here managed to get married in church even ur man is not a catholic?

I guess that puts our current cost forecasts at the other end of the scale. With return flights from the UK, and venue, food and bunch of other costs including pasture, and a few days away on honeymoon, our costs are approx £7000. So we certainly plan to spend a fair amount in having our celebration in the Philippines.....we could reduce, but as we are just having a very low key marriage in the Uk, I want to make sure my fiancee has a great family celebration and a day for her and I to remember. We are planning to celebrate at Tagaytay over looking the volcano.
If any great ideas for us to consider, please let us know!
    Thank you.
