If you're planning on getting married while you're there, do you realise you need to get the certificate of no impediment converted to a local filipino one at the embassy/consulate? This on its own will wipe out of half the £100 you're taking I'm afraid mate.

I married in RP in 2008 after obtaining my CNI here in the UK. There was no need for any conversion. I merely had to show it when I applied for the marriage licence. The cost of the licence has to be borne by all people wishing to get married.
Have the rules changed?
