you've mentioned in the past about the advantages of using the EU immigration system compared to the British immigration system..

The EU law is not wrong, the judge should have them deported to Germany, instead it appears a UK court decided for Germany judicial system.

In the instance the spouse was a British national, would the judge still deny deportation?

of course EU law is wrong, what kind of immigration law/system ignores their past immigration history or criminal record

the gov policy is to deport criminals who have been in prison 1yr or more, but his future wife is a EU national in the UK so its EU law that's been used NOT British immigration law.

Yes if he was married to a Brit i think he would be deported, why the hell shouldn't be ?? his wife can go and live in his country.. and who would want to marry a convicted rapist ?
