Does anybody here on the forum live near Maasin city? I would love to have a chat...got motorbike, will travel I've just come back from Limasawa(Island in the middle of nowhere) and nobody to chew the fat with. Feeling so lonely at times...my wife is a lovely person but cannot communicate on a level above wowowee etc...just want someone to talk to now and again. (most of the English men I've seen just seem to put their heads down and ignore everyone, as though they are fugatives from the UK) anyway off for a ride on my travelmobile....60 and just learning to ride a bike...amazing...

I was in S. Leyte a few weeks back, but didn't visit Maasin this time, will possibly be heading back in a months time or less depending on Visa applications.

The Mrs comes from Tomus Oppus which is an hour or less ride from Maasin. The few times visiting Maasin, didn't find much excitement there, I think the Jolibee was the highlight, then getting stranded there because we missed the last bus north.

Who knows I might be tearing my hair out for a good chin wag by time I get there next.
