Do the men on here (who are not religious) have to give up meat for Good Friday as per the wishes of their Filipino wives?
Just thought as I have a steak cooking at the minute, this could become a rare moment for me on Good Friday in the future...

I think Chicken is still upsetting to Catholic Bishops. Although bizarrely Duck was deemed a fish back in the middle ages by Bishops.
Clearly they had a grasp on biology beyond most other people
hubby is going to have steak and chips while me having yummy dried fish!
hmm, yes no meat in this house today :-( Church every Sunday and supposidly gave up some vices for fasting.... Having not been to church in a while, the first time I went with Marvie I thought I was going to burn up in flames...
My ear is red from being pulled.
(P.S, I did managed to sneak some ham from the fridge !! :-) shhhh)
The Wife had KFC with her mates on her lunch break but only because Pizza hutt was full.
