I doubt very much whether the majority of members on this forum who have been through the immigration process to bring their wives to the UK would agree with either the Daily Mail or youself, as you obviously agree with everything that is ever published in the DM, that the scrutiny of visa applications is slack.

The majority of members of this forum are law abiding legal UK residents who have to go through part of the immigration system to bring their loved ones here.

I think it was joebloggs who pointed out that native born Brits are discriminated against by having to go through the immigration process to get Spouse's in whereas Mr EU can bring into the UK whoever he wants as spouse or partner.

You know very well that I'm highlighting Labours policy of mass uncontrolled immigration - a lot of whom are the scum of the earth with the sole intention of entering the UK to exploit our lax benefit system and commit crime.

I'm afraid that I will never accept anything that the Daily Mail prints as fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if tomorrows headline finds a way to blame Gordon Brown for the volcanic dust cloud that has grounded all UK flights...... and if they do I'll bet you'll agree with them.

Ian thats a little harsh I feel Deadworth cant really be blamed for the erosion caused to his critical thinking by the interllectual giants that pen such even handed and well researched political analisis as the DM

I know it's not his fault and I think that he ought to be able to sue them. I also think that the NHS ought to offer treatment for this condition and that the next Labour government should impose a levy on the Daily Mail to cover such treatment.
