    Angry Wastrels..........

I was aware of Labour Gov. donations to countries like India and others.

But this one is like a bolt from the blue....

Why give 170 million quid to China...?

Our tax money given to one of the largest economies in the world...???

When we have people living in unsanitary conditions and on the poverty line, in the UK...??

    Vote Labour... My .

It's frightening how much we rely on China these days. If they were to suddenly pull the plug on exports to the UK, we'd be pretty screwed. 170 million backhander is peanuts to keep them sweet.

    http://www.britchamgd.com/ArticleSho...8&LanguageID=1

According to the data from HM Revenue and Customs, in 2008 China exports of goods to UK were £23.107 billion, an increase of 23% over 2007 figures. China imports were £5.072 billion of goods, an increase of 31% over 2007 figures.

Trade in goods between UK and China for the first seven months of 2009 was US$20.16 billion. UK export value to China reached US$4.19 billion (down 27.4%).
China are the masters of the universe these days, and there's not a lot we can do about it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-universe.html

I think some of it is the pompous goverment Minsters who think the Uk has to stick its nose in everywhere, much of china still lives in poverty but like others have said China has enough cash if it feels the urge to help them.
They wont of course as already labour costs are rising and some areas have huge amount of jobs which need filling! They certainly dont want the avg cost of living rising to much for the plebs otherwise they would lose the huge advantage of cheap person power.. The rest of the world doesn't want that either as nearly all countries rely on cheap goods from China as well.
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

The most shocking piece yet from Saturdays Mail - results of Labours open door immigration policy

Helena Horvatova is proud of her seven children. She lines them up in the back garden of her terrace house and explains that the youngest, aged four months, is called Kevin.

'It is a very British name. We want him to grow up British,' says the 27-year-old Czech mother, who arrived in Peterborough two weeks ago. In broken English, she continues: 'We came to Britain because we wanted a better life for all of our children.'

Mrs Horvatova pats little Kevin on his head, before plopping down on a battered bench in the middle of her garden, which is littered with rubbish.

Outside the kitchen door there are grubby children's clothes and some beer cans.

Inside the house sits Mrs Horvatova's husband, Frankie. He is 29 and also is able to speak only a few words of English.

'He does not go to work,' his wife says, as her ten-year-old daughter, Nicola, tries to help as an interpreter.

As the other children (Frankie, 12, Helena, nine, Marek, seven, Natala, six, and David, four) clamour for attention, their mother explains: 'My husband is claiming the Jobseekers' allowance. Back in our country he was a school cleaner, but in Peterborough they say there are no vacancies.

'The council has been very good to us. It has given us a house because we have the children. It only has three bedrooms, though, and we would like more.

These are the homeless European migrants that Labour promised this week (an announcement cynically made on the opening day of the election campaign) would be thrown out of Britain, because they cannot support themselves financially.

According to EU rules, foreigners can live in other member countries for up to three months, but can only remain if they are financially independent, working or registered as students.

for a long time , i saw a clip on a news channel the other day,

    from your fav daily mail

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...sent-home.html

but if the gov cant deport illegal immigrants, i wouldn't hold your breath if it tired to deport Europeans , i can see some expensive court cases coming up and compo claims

They wont be sent back..... & that's a fact.

When British Judges rule that a convicted rapist from Africa doesnt need to be sent back because he's going to marry a woman from Africa who became a German citizin....
    Or
British Judges wont deport a man because he didn't have a passport...

They won't be sending back anyone just because they're homeless & have no job.

Their Human Rights would be breached.!!!

the Major government in 1995 took the step to end exit controls for departures within the European Union. Soon after being elected to power in 1997, Jack Straw scrapped exit controls worldwide.

for a gov not knowing if you've left the country or not or how many have overstayed their visa..

It's obvious Labour had to be to blame somewhere along the line. Straw is a very slippery character.
