Perhaps true Arthur, but in todays world it is rare that you can have just one parent working and the other at home. *The £ just isn't worth what it used to be... but in bygone days, wages were infinitesimally small by comparison - yet fewer married women with kids felt the need to go out to work - and there seemed to be more contentment all round.
