Hi to all, I'm already 5 month pregnant and it says on my kit that i can get a pregnancy grant on my 6 month.just want to ask if we are entitled for the pregnancy grant here in UK eventhough we are still on our FLR status?? Thanks.

Yes you can claim. Ask a copy of the form from your midwife.

Are you sure while on FLR process we are entitled to apply for the pregnacy grant, if so I might as well apply myself. I just imagined as it stated on the Fiance visa no access to public funds that is was pointless thinking about it..

HIPG i think is classed as a public fund, but

You may not be able to get Health in Pregnancy Grant if you are subject to
immigration control.

but ..

If you are subject to immigration control
You may still be able to get Health in Pregnancy Grant if:
• you are a sponsored immigrant under the Home Office rules
• you (or your partner) are legally working in the UK and are nationals of Algeria,
Morocco, San Marino, Tunisia or Turkey
• you are a family member of a person who is a UK, Swiss or EEA national.
