Do you have to leave within 28 days upon your visa is issued?

hello everyone!

just want to ask if its true that you must leave within 28 days upon issued of your settlement visa.

our visa had been issued dated April 12, 2010. Just wondering if we can leave by the end of May. i still have to give 1 month notice to my job before i resigned. I would also like my daughter to have some more time to with her cousins and friends while it's summer holiday because I know that when she comes there, will take time to get new friends.

your'e visa should be valid for 27 months, so you'll have no problems coming here end of may

infact you have just under 4 months to get here, but i would stay max of 3 months in the phils and have no problems at all.
