    FLR Granted!! At last

    Well just as i was beginning to wonder just what was happening to my Wifes application It turns up today!!

    Submitted 16th Feb - So not too bad really!!!

    ... not TOO bad ... considering the Home Office would seem to be a tad slower than the British Embassy in Manila at dealing with [postal] requests for Settlement (as opposed to the 'fast-track' method - which, admittedly, is more costly!) My findings are based on personal observations of the average (and sometimes lengthy) waiting periods experienced by other members who've applied for FLR in recent times.

    Well your quite right it was very speedy considering some of the horror stories I have read - But for those waiting or applying - Good Luck and just be honest and ensure you provide all they ask for. Thanks Little Arthur - Think we will be celebrating with a few ciders tomorrow night (well me anyway ) as Maryrose is just 10 weeks away from bringing a our first little boy into the world!! 2010 will surely be a busy one!!!!!
