    Arrow Interesting news from France

Muslim woman fined for driving whist wearing a burkha and her "husband" is under investigation for benefit fraud - his 4 wives are all claiming single parent money.

You wonder if similar situations exist in this country and if so how would the authorities deal with them ? Turn a blind eye probably

They'd probably give each of his 4 wives and families a free house to live in and 3 or 4 hundred quid a week to live on

You are right and that's just for starters, if recent reports are anything to go by the house would be a £10k per month job in Kensington

Polls have shown while most French voters back a ban, legal experts have warned it could violate the country's constitution. France's highest court has warned the government that a complete ban could be unlawful.

an unelected court telling an elected gov what it can do that's democracy

the gov can change its constitution and if the highest court says its unlawful the gov can change the law so its not unlawful
