I have been very lucky to have been in full time employment for over 20 years so its been quite a shock to my system.

On the positive side i am surviving and we have been able to obtain Arlene's annulment recently

Next step hopefully in May will be Application for a Tourist Visa for Arlene to visit the UK in the late summer.

I hope to spend Xmas back in Philippines so all in all its great now the sun is shining and each day to look forward to being close to my mahal again soon..... oh and not forgetting..

We YM each morning and night and i know its tough for her...i appreciate all the help and support here on the forum.

Great people..... Great friends
Yeah, that's why we're here... And I like the way you and your mahal yahoo every day.. I think I am going to try and get Rizza a mobile broadband contract as we cannot do that at the minute...

Sean know how u feel it does seem like paradise but it will be even more amazing for the wait.

Plenty of time to prepare are you gonna try and learn some of your mahals mother tongue?
Its the oine thing i had wished i had done with a bit more vigour early in our relationship i bought some books early on (some stayed in phill to help the kids with school work) but even if your only of a basic level and just understand a little more it will make your stay a lot easier and stop u sitting there making everyone uncomfortable because u cant join in.

The Wifes family when i would do a bit of taglish was like watching there own born first words it means a lot especially to the older folks whose English is not so sharp normally

Turn the time round in your favour so its not a pain but a great time to brush up on your phill skills
I could never find a Visayan/English book and have been told there is none... So, guess I am going to rely on Rizza to teach me

Yeah... I knew I was not alone.. We all feel it when we are back in the UK alone. And I guess the ladies feel a different type of homesickness here in grey England....
