Browngate: Sky TV admits 10 second delay in "live" broadcast

Sky TV admits to delaying their televised Political debate with the three main political leaders in a leaked memo. The leaked memo expressed fears that Gordon Brown might forget his place and use common swear words live on national television.

Gordon Brown has called this a smear from News International, owned my Rupert Murdoch. Saying, "this would be just the sort of thing those bast**ds would do".

So he did swear .... well it was delayed for all 3 of them then so made no difference .... besides... you get a 4-5 seconds natural delay on Sky

Having worked in radio myself, I'm aware that most broadcasters use a delay, so its not really news.

Do you really believe that Sky would have used that delay function to stop it going out on air if Gordon Brown had used swear words..... or do you think that just maybe, some lowly technician (scapegoat) might have conveniently forgot to press the button to stop it going out.

Im more worried about our primeminster not being able to keep calm under pressure than the possbilty of fox news getting a scoop.

Fox news and Labour (and camerons bunch) deserve one another, both parties love the media/spin and then complain when the media realise the power they have and start messing with them

Any excuse in the book will do for Bottler, there's always someone else to blame
