...When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible...
Internet is valuable to make contacts easier, falling in love is different story at least from my view.
For me, i didn't fall in love over the internet, but i did fall in lust. Internet relationships start off the same as the in a bar on a friday night scenario, you see someone your physically attracted too and take it from there. In one respect, internet romances are more honest, because its damn sure that by the time you get your girl between the sheets, you've done a far more thorough "getting to know you" process than the average weekend knee trembler, so lurve is closer than just desire.
Is it sad to romance via the internet? There will always be people who say it is, but it's brought me the greatest happiness any man could hope for so if this makes me a sad old git, sign me up !
I guess theres people who still think that Unbelievable really. I've said before on other threads, the internets a wonderful thing for finding your soulmate. It opens up avenues which werent previously there. I doubt I would have gotten this lucky if I was still going on the pull down my local boozerIs it sad to romance via the internet?
Oh yes its possible
''Don't be serious..Be Sincere''
Even before you met in person you were in love? I know you can have strong feelings for somebody you chat to online, but I always held back a little just in case my gf didnt live up to my expectations (she actually surpassed them btw). You can't really know a person until you've seen them physically Maybe I was just too cautious
is this a sticky thread
Many all British romances either start or are mainly conducted via sms and the internet it seems now days..
Can think of many British Relationships i had where a huge percentage of the conversation was via IM,emails and sms simply because its a good way to have long conversations but get on with other things ie those boring day to day things like work and running a house..
Surely u fall in love with the others mind and personality so why not?
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
I agree guys, Internet is the one of the place to find your soulmate. I found mine. A good place to get on with your work whilst finding the special one. And I'm glad there is Internet as I don't have to search the one by foot. Just a click away. And yes it needs trust and worth it because you know that you are feeling something special even though he/she is miles away. And knowing the effort of the man to fly 7000 miles away to see you (plus back and forth) doing it 4 times less than 6 months is really something. Makes you appreciate that love does exist and it is for real. Let's be thankful of this technology as it brings us closer. Not just with falling in love but in terms of understanding the different cultures and diversities, making friends and knowing people on other side of the world.
if it was not fotr the internet i would not have found emma , snd since meeting her on the internet , getting to know her well enough to think i would like to see her , and here we are now months later preparing for her to come to england and get married , so yes you can fall in love on the internet
