Excel 2007 Problem

Twice in the last couple of days the "find" function has twice ceased to work on a spreadsheet I'm doing a lot of work on - to overcome this I have to open and copy my backup copy onto the version being used in My Documents.

The first time I thought the file had just got corrupted or similar but it worries me happening twice.

Any thoughts appreciated

Try to reinstall the driver again.

or try saving it in 1997-2003 workbook.Sometimes 2007 version has problem with compatability.

If you are using both (old 2003 and 2007) it might confused you as there are many differences between the two. You may do a custom install of Excel 2007 and tell it to keep all prior versions. This will allow you to use your prior version if you need it.

For me, 2007 is harder to use before but when I learned functions including logical, I found it bit interesting.

You can click HELP button when using excel and you'll find the answer shortly.

Thanks for all the help so far - I have got both 3003 & 2007 on my machine. No probs today but that's food for thought.

I'm a new boy to the world of Excel only having dabbled with it before - I'll look out for some basic skills training

Not being a computer buff, I'm tempted to ask the question ... if it "excel[led]" as much in 2007, as its name implies - then WHY is it creating problems only three years later?

Make sure that after the last 'find' you have made that the whole row isn't selected. Otherwise when you do your next search it will only find in that row and not the whole spreadsheet.

I have been having the same problem on a spreadsheet that I had made and that seemed to fix it up for me.
