    Do You Eat Cheese?

....noooo ... not that type ... you know who I'm talking too

I don't like milk, probably due to me being breast fed on a genetically modified coffee machine when I was a baby.

I'll eat Edam, and occasionally some red cheddar on toast but not often.

I love most cheeses, especially brie & camembert. supermarket cheeses are rubbish, if you want a real cheese - http://www.farmhousecheeses.com/cheese_shop.shtml

I love cheese- mature cheddar, Edam, Danish blue, Stilton, camenbert and Brie. I find elmental and feta a bit tasteless really. It does seem to give you dreams though if you have it not long before going to bed!

... when I w're a lad, cheese was a commodity most people could rely upon as being relatively affordable. And, in an age of post-war austerity, many kids ate bread and cheese sandwiches - routinely provided in their lunch boxes.

But, like bread, it ain't cheap any longer ... and nowadays [as a pensioner] I've resorted to buying only when it's on special offer ... which, I suppose, is just as well - in the light of my high cholesterol count! My preferences remain unchanged, however ... having long favoured mild cheddar and Dutch Cheeses like Edam and Gouda.

Mature cheddar is always in my monthly shopping list! Sometimes I pick up some Mascarpone, for biscuits or crackers. And of course some Mozzarella for home made pizza...

For cheese on toast I also like Cheshire cheese, as that was the stuff I was raised on.. but double Gloucester can also get added to my shopping list on occasion..

But some other cheeses are just yuk..

Love the stuff but like others buy the "buy one get one free" variety.........usually Cathedral in Sainsburys case.
They did a crimbo special, cave aged cheddar which was delicious but it disapearred straight afterwards.

Really love mature cheddar cheese, like the tang. I only live a few miles from Cheddar, but never bought any there. Quite like those Babybel, cheeses too...nice & rubbery. Not too keen on those strong soft cheeses.

    No ones mentioned Dairylea yet?
