Never said it didn't happen, but the way Dedworth goes on, it's on every street corner. First & foremost, I'm here for information on visas, my situation, maybe offer someone some help if I can.

The likes of you, Arthur Little, Iain Busby & many more, have been of great help to me & the wife.

I just wish Dedworth would lighten up, I've only known him go off on his personal rants & not contribute anymore, which is a shame, as I'm sure he has a lot of useful knowledge to give, or why else did he bother finding this forum?

In my 3 years here watching news and parliament debates, I always see Cameron's big eyes and shouting.

Since he became PM, I always see his big smile!!!

    Oh wow! Power brings happiness.

Gordon's happiness now is being a good tatay and asawa.

OK I always see Cameron's big smiles since he became PM!

Unlike before, I never seen him that smile but instead - big eyes and shouting at telenews and debates.

Goodluck to Gordon for choosing to be a good husband and good tatay.

Back to Seans point. Only from memory I think the Visas for Spouse and family members are harder to touch than working and student visas from outside of the UK I would also think Vistor visas are going to be a tad harer to get hold of.

Spouse Visas being quotaed would moblise a force I dont think any poltical party in the Uk would dare mess with which is the Indian Community who at grass roots level and higher up are more and more involved in poltics and more importantly donations...
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

Once Cameron has set his quota figure, if it looks like it might be exceeded in any one year, they might delay issuing visas to wives and fiancees just to save face, but I don't think they could actually refuse a visa for wife or fiancee just because they've already exceeded their quota for the year.

Oh NO, I just realised, it won't be Cameron that'll be in charge of immigration, it'll be Theresa May...... does this look like the face of compassionate conservatism to you?

I don't think it will happen - In fact I think the whole idea is ridiculous. Anyone here that visits an elderly relative in a Nursing Home will know that these companies simply could not operate without the thousands of young women from the Phillipines and other parts of the world. The idea that British people will suddenly find this type of work an attractive prospect is pretty funny really. The same applies to hundreds of thousands of workers in the NHS. The government will apply the cap - and then quickly withdraw it when they notice the disastrous consequences......

John Reid ("Home Office is not fit for purpose") for an ex Communist is doing very nicely - trousering thousands as a Director of G4S who are involved in PFI Prisons, Prisoner Transport etc

    John..
Why would the consequence be disastrous when EU immigration can never be capped again?
More than enough eastern Europeans to compensate for the lack of Asian workers in probably any low paid sector you could name.

In my opinion Filipinos have far too many rights in the UK if you consider that in their country we as British citizens have NONE.

I would certainly agree to the UK and Europe not allowing money remitance untill parity on rights in the Phils is established that would wake the Philipino government up rapido
