do we buy a single or return ticket to UK?

Hello

I hope to have my wife (filipno passport) and 3 year old dependant daughter (filipno passport) coming over with myself and our 8 month dependent daughter (full British passport) in July sometime ...entering on leave to remain visa (27 months)

can anyone tell me we need to purchase single or return air tickets for them?

its important as will save lots of money if only need single! (but maybe the UK norder agency might require a return ticket though -- but I can't find any info anywhere to tell me either way)

why would they need a return ticket

i wouldn't buy a ticket until you have their visa's anyway.. not unless you can get them on a special offer and are prepared to take the risk that you will have the visa in time for your flight

for your 3yr old stepdaughter dont forget you need to show your wife has 'sole responsibility' for her daughter..

You will need to demonstrate your wife has sole responsibility of her child.

If the father of the child is deceased for example the mother automatically gets sole responsibility.
