If the elections here had not been so damned orderly the Pound should have been mid 70`s..

God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people i had to kill because they pissed me off.

With a stable government the £££ should rally, may even be back up to £/$-1.7 by Xmas

It's more stable than the last 'Lets try and overthrow Brown AGAIN!!!' government... .... The £/$ effect is down to Greece at the moment, nothing else. The EU has to stabilize for the Euro/GBP to improve.

Get stronger get weaker, Its all relative. If one gets more to the pound it maybe the pound has strengthened or the other currency has weakened.

Just words really. Its a subjective test.

Well not for those who live in Euro Land. Its almost 1.18 to the pound today, lot better than for many months.

But as we send money to Phil, the pound and the Euro are down on that exchange rate.

Friday seen a massive sell-off of stocks and certain currencies, Monday will likely see them rise again.
