you never know...or im sure lots here in the forum will attend so why not come along with them...they might bring some friends and introduce them to you...

Take the opposite approach and enjoy your own company.Not everyone in groups find it enjoyable.Firstly, if you are a bit tight, you are constantly worrying if you are going to have to buy the others drinks etc. No one is looking at you just enjoy it.

I shall go to the one at Bristol on my own, dosen't bother me in the slightest, never gave it a 2nd thought.
We will be there. Going down tomorrow with our caravan and will site it near Amersham and then travel in each day. We have been several times before and I can echo many of the comments already made. The girls seem to love the stages (Connie got to sing on the big stage a few years ago) and all the socialising. She will meet up with some friends from around here plus her Aunty and another friend who lives in London. They will all bring mountains of food and picnic, Filipino style. We have regular gatherings of the local Filipino community here so it doesn't feel so special to me. In truth I find it pretty difficult to find anything to eat, not being a big fan of rice, lechon and definately not dried fish. I plan to go to a soccer match on Saturday, after an hour or so at the fiesta, and maybe not at all on Sunday! Don't tell Connie though. Parking is a pain and quite expensive.
I guess it was a bit like before I went to the cinema on my own. I didn't like the idea and I thought people would think if me a saddo on my own! But I got fed-up of missing films that I wanted to see, so I thought sod-it, I'll go on my own and it wasn't nearly as bad as I though & I now go often on my own and it doesn't worry me.I was trying to get you to be a bit more positive, but I obviously failed.
