Sorry Ras, But your attempt to be cool or hip just doesn't wash with most of us. If you really think your way of speaking is the 'new' British language, think again. Being a teacher, I think that text speak is a poor and lazy way of talking. Let me tell it in plain english, no one really speaks like that in real life, London 'speak' or not, I have never seen anyone talking that way in nEastenders.
If you have to read and re-read someone's post because you don't understand it, does this not tell you something is wrong?

Mate born n brought up in London and although i can read what you are writing and could understand if you were talking in the same style.
