    Welcome to the forum.

What do you want to do in the UK? Work, study, or just a holiday?

1 year work experience is one of the requirements. See here..

    http://www.nmc-uk.org/Registration/J...e-the-EU--EEA/

Though that page says "There are currently no approved midwifery adaptation courses available in the UK. You cannot work as a midwife in the United Kingdom without completing this programme." which would be a bit of a problem.

As well as meeting the requirements for the register, you also would need to meet the requirements to obtain a work visa which isn't that easy. No idea how immigration into the UK will have changed in 3 years time.

, Pam. I'D been going to suggest you contact the UK Midwifery Society of the Royal College of Nursing in London ... using the following website obtained from the internet:

    carolyn.basak@rcn.org.uk

But since Darren b has outlined the difficulties involved for overseas students, it COULD well amount to a pointless exercise. Nevertheless, "no stone left unturned ...", as the saying goes ... and I wish you all the very best with your future career development!
