    Sponsors documents for Settlement Visas

    Hi folks,
My wife and her daughter recently got their settlement Visas so just thought i would share with you the list of documents i included as Sponsor.

Included below is the text from the covering letter sent with the documents:-

b). Estate agents marketing report giving a valuation and description of the accommodation.
c). Approved plans of the property accommodation for alterations made in 2004.
d). List of current occupants of my house.
e). Photos of the house, living room, dining room and bedrooms.
3).Evidence I can support my wife and her child financially, in particular:-

b). Details of my savings account
c). Documents explaining large deposit of £**** into one of my accounts.
d). details of the balance on my securities account( shares) which allows me to trade shares and get funds within days of a trade. Recent statement and one from 12 months ago.
e). Details/statements of a Caxton foreign exchange traveler account which I currently use to transfer funds to the Philippines to support my wife currently.
f). Previous 6 months monthly salary statements.
g). Revised employment contract effective from January 4 th 2010 showing new salary.
h). A budget statement showing showing I have adequate funds remaining, after paying council tax and utility bills, to support my wife and her child in the future once they reach the UK.
4).Evidence of my permanent residence in the UK as a British national from:-
    a) The original copy of my birth certificate

c). Copies of emails received between us.
    d) Original letters and cards received by me from my wife.
7).My birth certificate (original document) and a photocopy..
8).My marriage certificate to my first wife now deceased.(original document) and a copy..
9).My first wife's death certificate (original document) and a copy.
10).Copies of my children's birth certificates from first marriage..
    11).Other supporting documents:-
a). Details of our relationship from when we first met until now and future plans.
b). Booking confirmation/e-tickets from 3 previous flights to the Philippines and one flight arranged for March 2010.
c).Original ticket stubs for previous flights.
d).Tax credit statement showing existing entitlement in respect of my son.
e). P60 Tax statement to April 2009 (largely out of date .)

Hope this list helps someone with their application.

We did make the mistake of using an Agency in Cebu to help my wife with the forms. www.olvis.com most of the claims on their website are false. My advice is DONT be tempted to use an agency as they ask for a large sum of money and do nothing. They claimed to help her in her own language through the entire process but in my opinion we ended up chasing them all the time to get things done and they really didnt have a clue about UK visa applications. Best advice is here on the forum from people who have been through it already.

Wether registered or not, we do not recommend the use of any agency whatsoever, as they waste time, and are basically extorting money for old rope.

Our advice is solid, given freely by people that have gone through the motions themselves.

So if you are trying to drum up business by hitching a ride on our forum and spam us with your registration number, you may as well emigrate to some other forum... Capisch...??
