7 — Material Plane: The earth, where you are right now.
    6 — Plane of Forces
    5 — Astral Plane
    4 — Mental Plane

Hi Queen Bee maam top answer as Darren mentions keeping Emma busy and active will help her settle in.

Food, coommunication to back home which is cheap and practical for both parties is a must.

Even in the summer ensuring she does not get cold some people feel it so much more than others...

Meeting people at first it does nto matter if Phill, brit or aliens from plant zarg we all need social company.
Also although people like friends their own age the Wife has friends who are nearly all older than her (mainly her Pinay friends) and the whole spectrum of ages from those who are from some other sort of background.
If Emma has a network of friends from wherever they will help support her when your not about. Many Pinays once relaxed with friends are amazing networkers the wife must have hundreds of friends and aquantances in our local area who have helped her find work and even introducded her to phill friends

Make sure Emma learns to get about on her own, simply knowing how to get a Bus to the local shops to potter around is vital. She cant always have to wait for you to get home..
Find her the cheapest ways to travel if best help her with a bus pass. Even if normally you go to town by car at the weekends take the bus with her at first so she feels comfortable on the bus

Intoduce her to the local shop keepers and mention in passing she has just moved over. Our local mini market introduced her to local pinays by mentioning to them when they came in a new phil in the area..

Make sure she understands about your mobile plan if not payg so she does not make any mistakes ie texting phill not realising the cost etc..
Open a bank account and ensure she understands about hiding pins numbers and being careful with personal info with those she doesn't know. Things that most Phils dont need to worry about back home.

Although Emma like my Wife is of course an intelligent lady be prepared to have to explain and teach her things we all take for granted. the UK and Phill very different
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

Loneliness can often be an issue especially if you are out at work all day - totally different to the Philippines where there are lots of family/friends near by. The only solution is finding friends locally which might be difficult for you to help with.

Leave her filipino food whilst you're away for work.
Have a weekend tour around countryside, museum, malls and other historical places.
Enrol her in a college for a short courses she's interested to learn and improve.

Emma will surely find a way on how to catch a bus, train, airplane if she feels the boredom. So leave her some £££ before going to work

Hi Steve, just look after her, make her feel special. Surely she'll miss her family, if you've been there, you must have seen that we really live differently but she'll soon get settled over here.
