On a brighter note: Yesterday afternoon, a good friend of mine ... chap I've known for more than 40 years ... said to me, "Y'know, Arthur, WE go back a looooong way ... and YOU seem far more relaxed and content - since you met Myrna - than I have seen you in ages!".
