All countires have entry visas it just depends on where you are coming from whether you need one or not.

It depends on which passport one holds.

Example a Filipino does not need a visa to enter Vietnam, a UK passport holder does.

In terms of length of time it varies, for example getting a schengen (most of Europe) visa tends to take 2 to 4 weeks for a filipino though getting a Canadian visa can be done in a day. If the embassies insist you apply in person and you need to get an appointment that can increase the amount of time. Where were you thinking of going?

Your problem is though that she may have trouble being granted a visa until you are married and/or she has FLR.
