I love roast dinner with all the traditional trimmings and proper apple pie with custard

You cannot get a more british meal than "Tripe and Onion"
Not that I would eat it!
When I was young around 60 years ago my dad used to make me deliver "childlins" and other cheap food he was able to get then and share with other people!
A nice Beef roast dinner for me!

my Vem loves our traditional roast..yorkshire puddings...Scampi & Chips....steak & kidney pie....Haagen Daz ice cream....she also likes Only Fools & Horses....except that's not food!

We eat Talapia fresh, the marinated milk fish is always frozen.
The taste of dried fish reminds me of Friday tea times 40 years ago.
it was Sprats and that is what the brand of dried fish Jane gets, reminds me of.
We don't have the thick crusty bread to go with it though
It is 2 buckets of rice instead
Lamb Balti with Mushroom rice
Beef Madras with Mushroom rice
Chicken Tandoori with mushroom rice
In fact, if you put mushroom rice in front of her your 75% there already hehehe
roast dinner is so far my fave...have tried fish and chips in matlock..hmm still prefer fried galunggong and rice
well great brittish food,ummmmmmmmmmmm, all my food is from farmfoods saving hard for the future so anything that is in the freezers is good brittish food till emma comes

Roast beef with roast potato, beef stew with hovis bread, fish and chips and the lovely and tasty pudding of course the Trifle then cherry pie, apple pie with custard and the crisp especially Walker onion and cheese

things that i like so far
chicken pie, roast dinners, cod and chips, loads of different things on toast, galaxy and cadbury drinking chocolate, creme brulee, trifle, solero ice cream and more deserts
so far i didnt see Haggis and tattis lolz( scottish people where are you) mind you i like it....
Sundays dindin with all the trimmings on it please....chocolate pudding lolz afterwards with cream yum yum
And the famous fish and chips pies forgot some will come back

Must say, I enjoy it too ... but alas, Myrna was somewhat reluctant to sample this delicious (peculiarly native) delicacy - once she'd read the ... ... list of ingredients on the label of the outer-skin ... um ..."bag" containing the haggis itself. ... me and my !
