    E.e.a. Family permit+return flight

    yeah ..i know i have been a real pain the last few days....one question..when booking a flight for my wife and son to come over on their e.e.a. family permit...should i book a return flight...i guess the answer will be a yes?...i know for a visa i have to book a return flight...but the permit is slightly different..di ba?

    i will try not to ask many more questions over the next few weeks..lol

    :Erm :why you want to book a return flight ?On the family permit your wife has a right to be with you.

    no, why would you book a return flight when your wife will be living with you you shouldn't have a problem buying a one way ticket for them ..

    thank you guys...i am just worried if i get one way ticket and they arrive at the airport..what wud happen...

    Never mind the flights...

    Make sure that they carry some recent chest x-rays in the hand luggage, to save time at immigration.

    chest x-rays??? why?...and wat will happen if they do not have them,...x-rays of my wife and son??....i thought after getting the permit..it wud be easy..

    Will you stop being an old biddy...???

    The chest x-ray is helpful, in case the immigration wants them to have 'em taken at the airport facility, and could be a few hours of wasted time, waiting for them to appear at the exit.

    Just be prepared, like the boy scouts...

    If they don't have the x-rays ain't too important, if they aren't asked to have it done there, they will be referred to your local hospital...
    But it will take time.....

    but i got some bad news today...they are not allowed to fly into dublin...they have to fly into belfast....and flights from manila to belfast suck..staying overnight is an airport...it is not that they r not allowed to fly into dublin..but dublin can refused them admission and send them back home. if all the documents r not right...because we got our family permit through british embassy...wow...
