My family will be moving to Edinburgh, Scotland mid of July. I will be teaching nursery in a Montessori school. My husband's name is Milo (I'm encouraging him to join the FilipinoUK forum too) and he is a budding chef. We have a lovely 7-year old son, Juan Carlos.
Moving to the UK is our second family adventure. We lived and worked in Shanghai, China from 2006 to 2009. Taught in an international Montessori school there, son went to the same school, and husband was then a graphic designer in Shanghaiexpat.com.
One of our main goal is to meet Filipinos in Edinburgh when we arrive there. Anyone here available to meet us up?
As in any OFW list, I will need to tick off & find information about TFC, Filipino stores, best way to remit money to Manila, amongst others. Any tips?
