got an sms today from VFS saying my visa application is under process...i submitted my application on tuesday the 15th. does anyone here know what this means? is this like a standard procedure that everyone, who applied for visa, go through? should i be excited at this point already?

spouse visa...i was told when i submitted my application that it'll take 2-3 months to process...just surprised to be receiving txt saying it's under process.

1. has been dispatched to british embassy
2. is under process at the british embassy
3. decision has been made and couriered back via 2go

That is the standard procedure. They will also text you if your passport is ready to pick up/ couriered. When I applied for my spouse visa it took only 22 days!! vfs will say the standard processing is up to 3 months but i guess it depends how fast they get the response from the agency which they need to verify your papers. i remember when we applied for my babys registration we called the embassy coz we think it taking so long for the decision and they told us the goverment agency which they need to verify the papers havent responded yet...was thinking it might be the case when they process the visa well anyway i got my visa a week after they process it..goodluck to you

My GF applied for her visa last week.
VFS tracking states "processed application returned to courier"...
Any ideas if this is a successful or unsuccessful application or we must just wait longer?
