For England to reach last 16

I keep getting different comments to this question..The last one was that England need 3 goals more than the USA if the yanks win!!
Surely England will be guaranteed to qualify if they win by only one goal regardless of the USA-Algeria game...Right?
Or is it me?

If England win , then we automatically qualify!. The top 2 in the group go into the next round.
If the USA win as well then those positions will be down to goal difference, as we will both have the same amount of points.

Yes thats right,also the winners of the group will play their game saturday,runners up play sunday.

It may be better to come second in this group to avoid playing germany as even the krauts may not win their group
