you can cook some. just buy a sticky rice from supermarket and looked up the process of cooking on the net
sorry guys.... its my fault, i told him its biko but hes actually asking about the 'suman'
so hes actually wanting suman
hes not actually fond of eating biko but its one of my favorites
Oh suman
Its not hard making them. From what I remember you use sticky rice, coconut milk, water, vanillia.
Wash the sticky rice, add the coconut milk, add vanilla (I think you can soak it over night) half cook this in a pan and constantly stiring it.
Once most of the liquid had dried up. You can then wrap them in the banana leaves then boil it for about 4hrs. Put some weight on it to make sure all the sumans are under the water while its boiling.
Thats about it.
Puto must be the most dificult one I ever tried. Its so simple to put together but to get the right result is so difficult. I gave up in the end
I don't think you need to soak the rice overnight and aside from that you can also add salt to taste. I like mine wrapped in banana leaves and cone shaped.
