What is it with Filipinos and their flip flops?

Was having a chat earlier today with Rizza's brother Michael when something he said got my mind racing back to when I was in Cebu SM Mall.

We went looking round for some footwear for Rizza and also for Michael - who was looking at flip-flops/Havaianas..

Wearing them I can understand, but what goes beyond me is how people (including my soon to be in laws) spend ages browsing them.

They are all the same, just a tiny difference with the design, which is hidden under the feet anyway

Or is it just me?

$2 in Wal-Mart, you can buy paint for $1 and do your own design .... now that's designer unique

I have 23 pairs of Havaianas! One of it was sent by Havaianas US for free after seeing my collection! They even sent one for my friend! hahahahahaha
