Hi James, (we must have a beer somtime I will PM you my moby). One of our 1st UK days out was Abrahams Heights/ Masson caves above Matlock Bath accessed via a small cable car (fun if she has not been in one). The views are great the, caves are amazing and the shops are touristy , best bit is great pubs and beer hehhehehe. I was based in Bridnorth at that time and she loved there as well as North/mid Wales, Horseshoe Pass, Swallow Falls, Snowdonia, Conywn castle, Great Ormes etc. Since then one on her favourities is north cornwall watergate bay, Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel etc. We are not far from Merry hill cenre she is shopped out already hehehe.
Look forward to meeting uo for that beer, my mahak and babies are in palawan right now so plenty spare beer time LOL

Two of my favourite places in the UK are the city of York for it's character, history and architecture and Warwick Castle (there is an entrance fee but in my opinion this is the best castle in England and well worth a visit).
Then there is Covent Garden in London which is always a hive of activity, the London Eye, Harrods and theater land for a show
wow rosie try powis castle thats a beautiful place to see and the gardens are great too, but then again anywhere is great if you are with your love one![]()
Erm ...... my original post said it was for the character, not for the horse racing, have you been Administrator fiddling?!![]()
I'd like to suggest a nice relaxing tour of beautiful English Pubs.
Many are located in some very rural and picturesque settings. Food available. Interesting architecture, historic connections, interesting names (with cultural meanings), and wide variety of alcoholic beverages.
Not forgetting cosy accomodations.
Seems to offer everything.
