Jet and Myself are planning to go on saturday 17th.

I will probably wear my white Chelsea baseball cap, the same one that Joebloggs gloriously missed last year at the Manchester Barrio Fiesta, Heaton park ...

We might be fetching some food along, as the quality and pricing of the stuff on offer left to be desired last year...

It was great last time, as lots of members were there and introduced themselves to us, needless to say it would be very nice to see the usual suspects again and catch up...

Ok local weather watch.

We have had some rain and cant comment on lampton park. But the amount of rain last night we had compared to sun and wind to dry out the ground as meant things are not to bad at all

The sun is out now hopefully meaning thats as long as no heavy rain tonight or tomorrow the ground should be ok but thankfully not to dusty.

As its all grass/soil underfoot it does make a difference. I wouldn't normally be commenting on the ground conditions

Well we made it back and are off there tomorrow im told with a different set of friends and more food purchasing as today was only the scout around

The food section was rammed as was the stage as always. Sounds system was loud and clear with one lady scaring the life out of entire food stalls directly opposite when she start to yell into the mic

One thing which maybe looking out for was the globe sim card which they claim give calls to globe mobile at 5p a min.

TFC were selling subscriptions, western union had a quiet stall lebra were bugging everyone as usual with there sales people everywhere as the main sponsor.

Food seemed to be much cheaper and better value if you wandered round a little even before the famous end of day sell off some stalls have.

The Ice cream stall was there with the beautiful icecream and there famous bell!! The couple and their stall must be the most photographed icecream stall in the world.

One great moment i saw was the two policemen who have so little to do at the fiesta joking with a family and there little kid Smiles all round and summed up the whole day.

Why the Phill tourist board dont make more effort to say hey this is what its like in phill as a tourist come along but that sounds to joined up im afraid

Took some pictures of the site which showed the vast number of people at the fiesta.

Hopefully SEB made it along as plenty of single ladies walking round from what i and my mates saw..
